Our requests include classroom supplies and equipment for special projects; comfy furniture, snacks, and games; books to support literacy via classroom libraries; and more. Part of a normal childhood is riding your bicycle around the neighborhood. And the students at our high school want that so badly. But, as people that are new to the United States, their drive and enthusiasm only goes so far. There are financial barriers that make owning and maintaining a bicycle difficult.
Through the generosity of many kind neighbors, BINcA students have been given bicycles that have potential but need work. We need help to buy new parts and tools to help students maintain them. Also, any donations will help buy locks to ensure their hard work will stay safe overnight. Our goal is for students to safely ride around their new communities.
